Nacelle Heaters from Lund & Sorensen A/S are special designed for cold climate applications inside the nacelle. The Heater is rigid and reliable designed when harsh performance are required. The Heater can be supplied with either 400V or 690V.

Funktion
The portable Nacelle Fan Heater indirect fired warm air heater is an extremely robust autonomous heating system designed to meet the demand for safe, mobile heating units that can be installed quickly and easily where you need them when you need them. The strong construction and simple logical design makes it ideal for use in windturbine, both permanently and for maintenance purpose.
Overheating protection
The Fan Heater is equipped with an overheating protection switch in order to prevent damage in case air flow is disrupted. If the temperature rises above 120°C inside the terminal box the switch will activat and cut off the power to the heating elements and the motor/Fan.
The thermal switch has to be manually reset.
Electrical installation
Installation must be carried out with a multipoled contact breaker with a contact space measuring at least 3 mm per pole. Permanent installation must always be performet by an authorised electrician in accordance with current regulations. Only the electrician has knowledge of current regulations. The terminals are accessible if the screws and the plate on the right and left side are removed.
